Hey, it wouldn't surprised me if they got "croomed" two years in a roll.
All I'm really concerned about, though, is how Bama's gonna fare in 2008.
Actually I want Auburn to have a decent season, so when the Crimson Tide rolls over them, we won't have the Barners attempting to diminish the victory by saying it was expected and that the only way we can beat them is when they are having a down year. I don't want those yokels to have any excuses.

Right now, I'll take a win against Auburn anyway it comes!

One of the reasons I find some of these Auburn fans so worried about what is happening with recruiting is the fact they are going to field a good team next season. They very well may have the best defense in the SEC. And, they do have some play makers on offense.
Their schedule is favorable for a good run with 5 of their 8 SEC games at home.

| ...but they also have a green quarterback, new o.c., new offense, and a new d.c.

The West Virginia game was moved. I *think* they were scheduled to open with them. I know it was a game early in the season.

You might want to recheck this argument.

Yep, the WVu game was suppose to be their season opener, but was moved to mid season to be a Thursday night ESPN game

Not to be ticky but AU was never scheduled to open with West Virginia. The date was originally set for Sept. 6. To me this change of date plays in AU's favor.

I think Auburn will be very good next year. I might be one of the few, but I think Kodi Burns will end up being an upgrade over Brandon Cox. I don't think their recruiting slide (if you even want to call it that) will show up this year at all.

They will field as good of a team as they had last year or a little better. Recruiting will start affecting them next year but most the year after. You are right it was never scheduled but it was in discussion to be the opener for AU and almost happened.

Dunno that Tennassee Martin game could go either way........but on a real note the LSU, MSU games are gonna be toss ups for most teams this year. AU should be happy they play them early in the year. I believe you also employ some wishful thinking....

My swing games were Ole Miss and Ark. It's going to be interesting to find out if it was Nutt or Arkansas we had a problem with.
