Ronnie Cottrell has agreed to coach Alma Bryant High School in South Mobile County according to a relative who has meet with Coach Cottrell. It is a done deal and will be official in June. Another former Bama Coach may join him but this is not official so I will not mention any names. This is good news for Alma Bryant who has not had a good head coach since Propst left for Hoover.

That is correct. I forgot about him. I think he was only at Bryant one season. I do remember that he had been a very successful coach.

Yeah, he knew some football. He coached at my school my 8th grade year and then took off. Seems like he is a bit of a journeyman...
