Let me say "thank you" for the warning you were linking a Scab article.
Avoid all things AL.com and you'll live a better life.

I'd never really read much of his writing.
TerryP....go teach this guy a thing or two about writing.
Sounds to me like he may be a little upset that Saban is "hard" on reporters.

I've never appreciated his style or commentary, but occasionally I used to read what he wrote. UNTIL...
Shula's first year he threw out an article about what the crowds were like at the SEC meetings. On and on he went into "detail" about how the Bama fans were following him around, etc. It was that day my feigned interest in Scab ceased to exist.
Why?
All the time he was writing about what he was seeing and experiencing in ATL but he never...let me repeat, NEVER, left his offices in B-ham. Literally, he was making up everything he was writing.
Ian is just as bad. If you watched the videos of the players interviews I posted this morning during Rashads interview you heard a guy ask about the arrest, etc. It's a strict rule, the players talk only about football. He knows it, they know it. But, he starts with questions about the arrest. I appreciate the GA who shut him down but it's just one more nail in that little bastids coffin.
FWIW, the only reporters Saban is hard on are the ones that don't follow his instructions on what to discuss with his players, those who ask stupid questions, and those who ask questions where the answer has already been answered. Hell, Saban made a closing statement in one of his pressers a few weeks ago and the first question Ian asked was what he had just said.
OH, those who ask hypothetical questions tend to get it as well.
