| That's pretty funny, considering the preteen won't even make it there until 2012-2013. Gillespie will have drunk himself into a coma by then.

I had a 6'7ish guy on my 7th-8th grade team. He did not dominate.
He ended up being 6'11". He still did not dominate.

Reminds me of Martez Walker. As a ninth grader playing at Central Park in Birmingham he was a top 4 player in his class. Committed his freshman year to Louisville. Now 3 years later and a few high schools later he's a Rivals 3 star who has "mutually" cut ties with Louisville and according to his profile has interest in schools such as Pepperdine, Virginia Commonwealth, and Fordham. The ranking of kids that young is fun to look at but very inaccurate. I can remember Major Wingate being ranked the top 9th grader of the 2003 class (same class as Lebron James, Loul Deng, Chris Paul) and Joey Cameron also being the top freshman from the 2005 class (Hansbrough, Hendrix, several pretty good NBA guys). Everybody wants to be the first to find the next big thing but it's just to hard to call. I remember reading an article about a Five-Star camp many years ago where the writer said that an 8th grader from Ohio named Lebron James was going to be one of the greats by the time he was done. He probably should've tried harder to get that article to more viewers lol.
