Not about the game Wink I expected us too slop through the game and we did (not to the extreme we did but oh well) I had Tulane + the 30 Very Happy

PArking has been become a COMPLETE CLUSTER FRIG. IM tired of seeing (before and after) Parking lots on campus blocked off that are half full.

Concession prices (that were never low) have gone through the roof. I bought 3 hot dogs and 2 small cokes (paper cup not the plastic) $26.

Tony Giles continues to piss me off as PA announcer. ANybody have any idea what he was talking about in the 4th Q when he said a 10 minute "cooling off period" would be used at the games conclusion? WTH?

On the positive side....our group bought a reserved tailgate this season through the uni.....It went well

concession prices are indeed ridiculous, however the quality is superior to what has been served the last several years.

I personally dont frequent the concession stand because we do so much pregame and I have been know to take a little something extra into the game. However, parking is the worst in the SEC. Not only that, people are so ill about it that it boils over and they begin to get ill at each other. We play loud music at our spot and has never been a problem. People usually come over and dance and stuff. The police, which are a joke, would not leave me alone about the level, so we just left. I made an announcement that the police were shutting down the party and then we left the quad. Everything has just gotten sooooo dang strict. We as fans just wanna have fun.

I got lucky on parking for a change. I rolled in right after kickoff and drove right into Tutwiler lot and parked, just like old times.

Tim

College football is now a venue. If you don't want to pay the money.....somebody will. Hell....over at the Georgia Dome I bought 2 cokes, a papa johns personal pan pizza and a knife and fork dog...~ 26 bucks. Winning by 24....Priceless.

I here ya but this has now reached a level of Venue. Not for the faint of heart or wallet.

Coke in a paper cup - 4.00, Coke in a plastic cup - 8.00, Hotdog - 6.00, but the lines at the concession stands were still long.

The plastic cups are cool this year. Makes the six bucks sting less. Plus, my concession money was helping some good folks in Hamilton raise money.
