Its worth noting that the team they played - Texas Southern (D1AA SWAC member) had 34 dropped on them by Prairie View A&M last week. Anyone who thinks that Arkie State will rush for 441 yards against us (or even the 221 they did on TAMU) needs to lay down the crack pipe. TAMU gave up over 200 yards to New Mexico today.

Also - New Mexico (who rushed for over 200 against TAMU) was held to 56 on 32 carries by TCU.
Arkie State may be better than they usually are, but I would not read too much into their scoring output today...nor would I read too much into our poor showing today.

It's also worth noting that if we're going by this logic, we haven't given up a touchdown so far this season. Oh and this is a RTRandy approved thread.

Looks like Joe Kines has still not figured out a way to stop that "inside Trout option."

Unless you count the kick return by Clemson. But since it wasn't an offensive TD, and it wasn't scored against our D, then that's not too shabby. Going into game 3 and we haven't allowed any offensive TDs. That's the only good thing I can see so far this season?

That is looking on the great side of a train wreck. Thanks for giving me a positive outlook. At lease the caboose didn't get a scratch. Saban is right, we have to take one game at a time. Oh don't forget that we beat Tulane without our main two starters on the offense. Our mother called and reminded us that we might get hurt if we hit them too hard, Poor old team had to leave home because of the hurricane. Dont't hurt em.
